#2009vs2019 (Patreon)

In 2009 I was studying at architecture college, watching a lot of anime and playing games, dreaming of working in Japan with the creators I love so much, occasionally doing pencil drawings and watercolor paintings, scanning them and uploading to DeviantArt. In 2009, if somebody told me “In 10 years you’ll be living in Japan and working on animated movie!” I probably would answer “Sure, it’s my dream, but unfortunately this would never happen”. On April 26th, the first animated movie I’ve worked on, Birthday Wonderland, will be out in cinemas in Japan. Still can’t believe it.
