Hello Orcs!
I'm here to keep you updated on where I am with the finalization of the V1 !
Last minute new feature : Popularity!
Every time I start a new game I always tell myself that I will wait until I finish the main quest before buying all the underwear at Bandit's, because buying them would be a waste of resources and would prevent me from progressing in the adventure. But that was until someone on Discord gave us a wonderful idea:
In the next version, every time you acquire a new underwear, it will increase your popularity, and your resource earnings will increase by 5% for each underwear you own. This will motivate you to buy more items from Bandit as you go along!
You will be able to unlock some new dialogues with the villagers as you become popular in the village, as well as an additional hot scene.

As you can imagine, it completely unbalanced the game as well, and we are still in the process of rebalancing it. Some things might seem more expensive in the next version, but in reality you will gain resources faster, so it should be the same or even cheaper in the end.
Some other changes
In addition to changing the price of many items, we have made some changes to make the first half of the game easier. The Ghart mini game will only be available after you have repaired your house (entirely) and will now give silver ore, not bronze. Vegetables on sale at Barto's will be available earlier and you will no longer have to repair the bridge to get them. After several tests, this has made the in-game experience much less frustrating with just these 2 changes.
Horace's minigame has also changed: You will be able to activate the blue stone which will charge as the minigame progresses, releasing a wave of vegetables with each activation. Battles against Horace will now be with his clones, so we have changed all of his battle texts. The difficulty of Valdo's mini game has been lowered, and you can get bonus fish much earlier in the mini game. There is also a lot of sound design that has been added to the interaction with the UI. Some precum has been added in most of the hot scenes, and this allowed me to fix some animations in the process.
I'm forgetting a lot of details, but that's part of what we've been doing in the polishing lately.
Poll result of Beryllus' husband
In the last poll we asked you what you would prefer Beryllus' husband to be:
It is unequivocal that you voted for Beryllus' husband to be a bull, so he will be a bull! I haven't had time to draw him yet, but I'm really looking forward to it :) I've already got some ideas for a mini-game for him and ideas about his role in the village (I think he'll be a doctor).
I don't think I want Beryllus and his husband to be characters that are only available after finishing the game, so it might be that he's integrated as the main adventure progresses (so don't rely too much on the dialogue with Beryllus coming back to Whellcum after we free the king from the curse).
That's about it! On our side, we're still running tests to fix everything that doesn't work, and to try to improve the game feel and rebalancing as much as possible.
