But the knight did not want to answer her plea. He was afraid of her. Instead of a princess, he created a monster. And sadly with a clutch of children on its way. He doesn't know how to take this all in, his gut tells him to run away as planned.

However, for some strange reason he felt sorry for her. She had genuine feelings for the knight, and he was about to abandon her. He knew this was a mistake for this to happen to her, but he couldn't just let her go that easy. He got lost in his thoughts, unsure what to do with the situation. No matter how hard he tried to find excuses, it became clear there is only one way to settle this.

With a few taps of his heels, he changed course. Once he was close to the dragoness he pace his movement ever so slowly, trying not to alarm her yet. Then, a loud voice was heard and got the dragoness attention. And sure enough she was no longer crying of sadness, but in sheer happiness. The knight was still alive!

Right, I did not expect this to take so long to finish, but here it is. One of the longest comics I ever done in a very long time, with a twist in terms of the theme I never thought I would have done at the time.

A super overdue commission for Issus on FA.
