A low buzz could be heard from the door “Eespy! Can you open up?”

Espoir grumbled, she didn’t want to get up, especially with a heavy load in front of her. Despite that, the second buzz rang, forcing her to stand up, groaning with annoyance. She wasn’t happy to waddle all the way to the front door. But she she knew she had to help her sis get in, seeing that she had a handful. So much for buying ‘one or two things’ she said.

“Thanks, sis!” she really went out of her way to goshopping today, among other things, “By the way, Happy Mother’s Day!”

‘Oh wait, it’s Mother’s day already?’ Espoir thought to herself, almost wanting to facepalm. The realization sinks in that she also now qualifies to be part of this. Not that she wanted to, but with her sister she had no choice in the matter anyway. Not looking forward to what she had in store. “I just hope its nothing cute or anythin-”

“You expect some flowers or something?” Raine snorted at her sister’s words, before saying “ Come on now, that’s not your thing. I got you something better instead” she then pull out something from one of the bags. It was a small box for a cartridge-based console.

“Is that Instinct Fighting 7?” Espoir couldn’t believe it, she didn’t know where she got this before launch day.

“Yep!”

“I thought it was coming out tomorrow?”

“Weell, I know someone in a store that I could sweat talk into getting it early~”

“Oh sheesh, you didn’t have to go th-hat far, sis!”

“Hey, it was easy knowing they were a fan of my streams! So it was no big deal to have an early peek of the game. We can totally play a local match together!”

“Oh wow… you are the best, Raine!”

There has to be a catch. And Espoir felt her back being jabbed by her sister “So?”

“So… what?”

“What you got me for me?”

“Uuuuhh…”

“Don’t tell me you forgot it was Mother’s Day?”

“I wasn’t sure… uh, well…”

Raine’s eyes rolled, typical of her shy sister, she tap the floor a few time until a smirk came out of her rounded face, “So let’s make a deal. After the warmup, best out of three. You beat me I will order takeout. But if I win…”

“If you win?”

“An all-you-can-eat buffet at the fair!”

“Huh? There’s a fair today?”

“Why wouldn’t it?” Raine then chuckled “Plus I heard they serve great discounts for mom’s to be too! A good excuse for an improve all-you-can-eat!”

“Fudge…” Espoir didn’t like the idea at all. If she lose, it sounds so embarrassing to go out there again looking like a balloon! But man why does it sound so enticing to lose? The babies sure betray her with her belly rumbling at the mention of food either way “Fine, deal!”

“Yes!!” Raine bounce with glee, with her own belly wobbling, “Boot it up!!”

Espoir then waddle all the way to the tv to insert the game into the game console. However, as she did she felt a strong discomfort in her belly.

“You okay?” Raine said with concern.

“Ho boy… The kiddos to want to-” Espoir gasped as she felt a strong kick from the kids, pushing her wall violently. She promptly flinch as the rest of the kids follow suit. It almost made her lose her balance. The moment it stopped the size of her belly didn’t shrink. Seems like she gained a few inches from that activity alone.

“Fudge, bad timing for a growth spurt.” Espoir sighing, andjust before playing a new game too.

“You telling me. Feeling better?”

“A little.” doesn't sound too confident.

“Cheer up, I’ll make it easy for you even outside of warmup.”

“Eh, it’s okay.” that fair idea almost made her want to go there for the food alone.
