Ah the Delinquent! Here's a refresh of it! Now, yes it is in a similar scene to one of the first Audios featuring this character, but I really do like this kind of scene. And unlike before- there's definitely a continuation to the story of how you and him keep getting into these situations~

Now, that being said I did notice that the Delinquent has some parallels with Dabi. Maybe that's just how I see "Badboy" type characters. He's definitely not Dabi for one though, but yeah. Honestly I'm kinda curious how I want to progress this OC. Should I make him open up more and be more vulnerable, or should I make him even more of a Badboy? I try to not go into certain scenes like Smoking or Alcohol- unless it's in a classy enviroment- but those are really topics that a stereotypical Delinquent would be at home with. Granted I did hint before that this isn't just some bum or lazy arse Delinquent, but rather someone who just doesn't believe in how things are run... huh... reminds me of Dabi.

Technical wise- oh boi a lot of things have changed in the background. For one, I did try to use multiple different techniques with the SFX in the spice. From the editing to the actual recording of it.

Editing wise, I focused on layering a few recordings to really fill in the small voids that a single recording often leaves. Recording wise I decided to have a more... escalating... intensity. Now I do need to practice it more as it didn't get recorded as well as I had hoped. I'm unsure if it's the settings of the microphone or something else, or if it can even be remedied. I'll definitely keep experimenting though! And if you're wondering what I'm aiming for with this- it's really... hmm... hard to explain. Authentic is the closest word I can get, but I also understand that in reality, the sounds that it would really make would be very subtle. Unless you're going jackhammer style fingering- then yeah- it'd probably sound louder and wetter. Really, I'm still on the fence of how... obscene... and loud... I want things to sound.

There's a certain class, elegance and immersion to having things be softer and more muted. But, as I stated in previous audios, I also understand that going too soft can lead to some SFX being literally un-noticeable... no matter how realistic it might be. Of course the opposite is arguably even worse- when an SFX sounds like it's right in front of your face when it's supposed to be coming from a more.... intimate... place.
