"Is the legal profession better with Jimmy Mcgill in it?" Regardless of the weight of scale of responsibility, regardless of how much Chuck had to do with it by not believing in Jimmy and betraying him and actively conspiring against him, we got our ultimate answer in Breaking Bad. Jimmy ultimately enables Walter, Jesse and Mike, helps out the interests of Gus, and children get poisoned and murdered and disappear forever in the desert. Jimmy ultimately proves Chuck right, even if Chuck was the biggest fucking asshole that ever existed.

quite right! but what if all of that is an extinction of Chuck's arrogance towards his own brother, that enabled him to not follow his moral compass, but his own pride and material aspiration? bcuz you can clearly see how Jimmy was trying to be someone that Chuck will love and be proud of.. but by denying him, was also enabling him to become worse.

Quite right. Jimmy was trying to do good, to be better, to help with Chuck's mental illness, despite going broke for the both of them. And Jimmy looked out for Chuck's legal interests, as well as his personal interests, by trying to get the fair share of money from HHM, and by keeping him out the mental hospitals because Jimmy believed in Chuck. Chuck never believed in Jimmy, you are right, because of arrogance and pride, and corrupted Jimmy's moral compass. Chuck did everything he could to extinguish Jimmy's goodness. Not because of the mental illness, but out of his fully functional mental capacity, out of his false sense of hurt pride because Chuck felt his own intelligence was insulted when Jimmy became a lawyer. It's really sad, and a tragedy.
