Wow this was a surprise. This was cool to watch in the theater and cool to watch again now. Strangely enough, this is a favorite of two big time directors. I listened to Quentin Tarantino do an entire podcast on the movie, and Christopher Nolan made a list of 37 movies he wants people to see and Unstoppable was on it.

That was so fun to re-watch. Haven't seen it since it come out! I think what makes this movie so exciting is how real all the stunts and explosions look. I watched a video on youtube (https://youtu.be/333byRz_Qn0?si=FvJuxwHB-j9ndN5Q&t=486 if youre interested) after talking about how all the stunts were real and the train was at a constant 40miles per hour. In so many blockbusters and especially superhero movies is that the action is more cartoony and green screen looking, its not a necessarily bad thing but it feels we rarely get movies like with this realism and practical stunts and it feels so real. Tony Scott is a fun director and you should definitely check out more of his movies. "Enemy of the State" (1998) is a fun action thriller starring Will Smith, I think you'll love the plot! Or check out "True Romance" (1993) directed by Tony but written by Quintin Tarantino. Unstoppable was unfortunately his last film before his sad passing. He left a very fun filmography of films to watch
