Don Cheadle the guy who plays colonal Rhodes in Iron Man is actually a highly regarded actor in hollywood. He's stared in a lot of movies. I'd recommend checking out Crash 2004. That was an oscar winning film he stared in with an A list cast.

I liked Rush Hour 2 more as well for the same reasons you did. Another funny, fast-talking comedian who worked in movies is Eddie Murphy. He was HUGE in the 80s and "Beverly Hills Cop" 1 and 2 were two of his best. 3 not so much. Definitely worth taking a look if you want more action-comedy cop movies.

Yeah, this one's a lot of fun. Even for it's day the racist humor was a little touchy, but I think that kind of humor is really hard to get made in this this day and age. Recently, I watched TROPIC THUNDER with someone who's never seen it before. While it was made in the late '00s, I don't think it could be made in 2023's overly sensitive times. It's like you might just get a text slap from Will Smith. But I love these movies anyway. Now, I'm gonna have to scroll down to see if you guys did TROPIC THUNDER.

All this martial art got me thinking of Kung Fu Hustle... hilarious movie w/ a+ choreography. And of course the comedy got me thinking of Naked Gun.

i don't think we did Tropic Thunder.. it doesn't ring a bell at all.. but ur right with what u just said, today's hardest genre to make is Comedy.. comedy is about laughing at people's misery, or mocking someone in a funny way or other things.. but those things are considered hate speech with today's standards.. at some point i really believe the internet will split in two categories.. first is those who feel offended by everything.. and second those who just want to get away from that.. to a place where they can say what ever the heck they want
