Blight is a magical illness, also known as a curse, that causes bestial attributes to develop on the body. Its severity and speed of growth is affected both by the patient's magical energy and their use of medication. While there is no cure for Blight, it can be treated to slow its growth with familiars, to absorb the excess magic which will slow the growth, or the use of Polymorphine, an ethereal tonic used to reverse the effects of Blight and other body altering spells and illnesses.
