I think it works this way. However, you could replace the dude with a building with a tiny dude on top and it would work just as well. ;3

I really like this composition on a minimacro picture, though I am admittedly biased towards that range!

I did a bit of a double-take when I realized that the relative sizing could work for either ("Take _that_, perspective!") I feel the mini-giant works best for "big girlfriend" intimacy (could probably find a secluded alleyway), but it'd be a neat challenge to pull off the same effect when one of them is 400 ft tall!
