Here's a video where I talk about my thinking process when it comes to creating city streets and getting the right feeling and essence of them. Something I came to realize only a couple weeks back is how you can think of your 3d art almost like how a good painter does. That is, breaking scenes down into essential lines and shapes of color, focusing more on getting the feeling right through art direction rather than thinking inside the box.
