I've streamlined my process into "storyboard - cleaner, larger sketches - lineart - colors - lighting", although I only ever show lineart and fully colored pages for some reason. One such reason's the timing, I can only post them AFTER an episode's live, or WITH the tiny teasers I'm already showing. Requires lots of thinking/planning that I just don't bother with. Another reason's that I'm not sure if these have any value, if someone's interested in seeing the earliest raw doodles. But who knows, maybe I'm biased. Maybe this IS interesting to someone. In that case, here you go C:

My storyboard template 1.0 looked like this. I finally made a more pro-looking version 2.0 that I'll be using from here on. Behold, empty pages :>

10 is the max pages per update because tumblr image post limit and because my sanity and physical health. I'm trying to stick with 7 or less, it's still a shitton of work.

I won't even try going in order, sorry :'D This one I've redrawn at least two times. Chasing that perfect mood and angle.

Just some fun silly sketches. Yes I normally sketch in pink or red because, unlike black/grey, it doesn't visually mix with the lineart which is also black. When linearting, I just turn the sketch layer opacity down to 10% or so, very very faint. Some sketches turn out perfect from the beginning, so I only have to trace them more cleanly, some still require some artistic input. I'm trying to have the anatomy figured out before the lineart phase.

This episode, 2, I drew at the same time with 1. Nothing was streamlined yet.

I even tried figuring out the lighting/values in that early sketch phase, something I don't normally do because I'm self-taught and this helpful habit isn't baked into my brain.

Several versions made over a few weeks. Hell knows how many times I redrew the lineart on his face as well :'D Luckily, the final result that went live looks satisfying, close to how I imagined it.

Just some more cats that I think are neat.

The best frame ever. It turned out so perfect even in the thumbnail that I just rolled with it, to people's delight x'D

He......

I'll just quietly put most of the episode 7 sketches here. Proud of these.

*slams both fists on the desk*

Thank you for reading/looking through all of these \o/ Lemme know if you want more in the future, I started deleting the sketch layers as soon as I've done the lineart because there's already like 40-60 layers on average in each episode's psd, but I can try piling the sketches up somewhere separate to show you later.

I love seeing process shots, so cool to see how it all comes together :)

Glad you like C: I just looked back at how much work I've done since july this year, felt like rambling about it.
