more about new patreon fees + reminder (Patreon)

Secondly, more thoughts about the unfair fees that are likely to be implemented on December 18. I don't have my hopes up regarding Patreon staff's friendliness at this point. They're not artist-oriented as they claim. They're butts. Don't think they're gonna listen and cooperate. 

Let's be honest, this platform has never been perfect, but there wasn't any worthy alternative (still isn't?). Now they're going too far. If the new fees kick in, $1~5 patrons will be paying 30% more for EACH creator they support. Both creators and patrons are outraged by this. I've personally already lost a few patrons because of this news, even though the change still hasn't kicked in.

10 days from now on. If they don't revert this change, I'm out. I'll be manually deleting each pledge, and making a new post reminding why's that. Probably I'll delete reward tiers too, making this place a tip jar with no guaranteed reward, until I find a better alternative. You'll be free to re-pledge, but keep in mind that now you'll also be supporting Patreon staff's greedy butts and their "brilliant" ideas.

It's not The End yet, as the scandal is pretty loud and massive. We could actually make an impact. But I'm sharing my thoughts and plans with you in case if we don't succeed.
