$1 Tier will be $2 starting this month (Explanation inside) (Patreon)

first off, let me just say that i kept it as $1 so everyone can view this stuff as cheaply as possible.  ive defended that multiple times, but nows the time where i need to increase it by $1 more.

why?

there are multiple reasons

1)

the money i get from patreon has been around the same/less for a long time now, compared to the first year i opened patreon.  the more effort, the longer videos where, the more i kept bustin my ass over all this, the money was the same.  it is just not enough these days, and not really worth the effort and extra attention to animations when moneys at such a standstill that its been the same for like, 3 years

very recently, i started porting my animations to blender.  that added a huge workload to everything i do.  it takes me days/week usually to now port my animations into blender, and thats on top of animating in sfm itself.  to much piled on extra work that takes very long, just for the same amount of money as when i didnt take the extra time/effort to do all this

2)

that 2nd tier, the one that helps pay for models, isnt enough, so money for models came out of my own pocket multiple times.  a model is REALLY expensive, the most that i spent on one was about $220, so there where alot of months where i barely made any money at all.  on average, the custom models i get done are in that range, $150-$200, there where times where i had 2-3 models that needed to be done in the same month.  putting $2 toward each model isnt alot at all.  this way, when the money does come out of my own pocket, itd be much more affordable for me, since im still recovering from losses.  those losses happen very often to

3)

the amount of content here is a LOT.  it is soooo many animations, right nows the point where i have to say "ok i made way to much for just $1, i have to do something about it".  what do i have, over 700 animations total?  idk how many is on patreon, but i think its like, 550?  more?  i cant check, but that sounds right.  that amount is insane for $1, especially since i also combined "no watermarks" into the same tier, starting from july last year.  if you break it down, $1 = no watermarks + access to the years of animations i ever uploaded on patreon

4)

privacy.  this is a HUGE issue irl.  i do not have my own room, and theres no door i can lock to keep people out.  theres constant interruptions to the point where i either cant work on something, or get so little time to that its not even worth taking the 10 minutes to startup sfm to work on something that day.  i want to be able to afford my own apartment, so that privacy wont become an issue.  with the money at a standstill, 3 years later, i still cant move out.  changing from $1 to $2, im hoping that i can move out to an apartment already, so that i can actually work normally on stuff, and not have days where i need to rush due to interruptions.  i will finally be able to work longer on stuff each week, and hopefully be able to get stuff out faster

i know people wont like the $1 difference, i know everyone wants everything as cheap as possible (who doesnt?), but nows the point where it HAS to be changed, at least a little bit, so i hope you can at least understand now where im comin from, and see the situation from my point of view
