So this was an episode with a series of confusing moments but ultimately it was fun to watch. Can't wait for EP.2

Just wanted to add that Wei Wuxian and Yiling Patriarch and Wei Ying are all the same person. They’re different honorifics I believe. And Lan Zhan calls him Wei Ying because they’re close. So Lan Zhan and Lao Zhan are the same person as well. The scars on his arm are a curse. The person who resurrected him did it with a curse, and the scars won’t go away unless he kills the 4 people that Mo Xuanyu had a grudge against. Also, any period cdrama will have flying and magic powers. It’s literally a staple of Chinese period dramas 😂 the people in question here though are Cultivators, meaning they fight demons of sorts and that’s why they can fly and do the finger moves
