Dang, you guys make pretty smart choices.

The next part will consist of a brief art tutorial on how I draw my gestures and poses. The main focus will be lines of action (which is the basics of gestures), and this general attribute, despite its abstract concept, is what determines the fluidity and dynamics of your drawings before they are finished. Lines of action can help your character clearly convey his /her intentions and can make your drawing become more pleasing to the eye. Without lines of action, drawings can look stiff and monotonous.

I would go as far as to say that, from all the things you can learn from drawing (anatomical ratios, perspectives, muscles, shading, coloring...), mastering lines of action is of utmost importance since it is the basis of how all drawings will be "felt" in the end. Even today, I am still mastering this vital concept.

Please take note that this post is not the result of the poll and that this tutorial will only be available for my $5+ patrons.

Hope you guys are excited! Below are random doodles I did to warm myself up :D
