May 2024 Summary (Patreon)

Time for another monthly summary. A lot of stuff was already said in previous posts so I'll just summarize it. I had a pretty stressful, overwhelming yet exciting trip to Moscow which lasted from May 15 to May 16, participated in an art exhibition which was very good except for the fact no furries came despite my expectations. I caught some shit while staying for a night in a hostel with a man next to me who was coughing non-stop and it took me some time to recover not only from exhausting trip which made it hard to even walk from one room to another when I came home but also from a sickness. Also a lot of time was spent working on a big pixel animation commission so as a result this month wasn't super rich for various content sadly, let's count it all: first part of a two part birthday art sequence which was a pretty simple pin-up with barely any alts, second part which in contrast was a massive boom of 50 edits, this one took a plenty of time, then after my birthday, Moscow trip and sickness I was trying my best to finally finish my pixel animation commission and after it was done I barely managed to finish the last artwork with Decker before June. So, it's just 4 artworks this month, bruh, this is a record of minimum again. It's all excusable by all the stuff mentioned above but still.

I'm really surprised that May income didn't dropped compared to April and more than that it gained a bit of a raise! That was surprising and very nice, I assume maybe my Twitter tactics started giving their results, my bf said my account finally appeared in Twitter recommendations so probably I finally got rid of all the shadow bans and my stuff will appear in people feed more often.

So, what are my plans for June? First of all, there's another trip to Moscow planned for June 8 where I'll give a lecture in an exhibition center talking about my life and furry stuff. Hopefully I'll see some furries as visitors there but after exhibition opening fail I have big doubts. Thankfully this trip is not gonna be long, just one day, and not so exhausting since nobody is not going to use me as a working force for the whole day to help with preparations, so no recovery from the stress as well. Other than that I'm free.

The first art I plan to do is Decker full of piercings again but this time inflated big and round, it's almost ready actually, the pencil work is all done already, next I should think about money again so I'll have to start working on my next commission which is another pixel animation, this time with Arnold Pitbull from Tiny Toon, luckily expected to be not as complicated and time consuming as the previous one.

Making a living in June with just one comm would be tough so probably I'll have to try my best to finish another one for my close friend who is waiting to get another human hyper muscle art from me for a long time featuring one childhood crush of mine, I'm very eager myself to finally do it, so let's hope it will be finished in June too.

Father's Day is coming closer as well which is June 16, I was missing it all the time but now I should finally draw some nice family fun with Volk, Vityai and their dad. I have one idea for them which was sitting in my head for years, would be so nice to finally let it out, probably I'll have to take a break in my commission process to make a Father's Day art in time. However, I got inspired to do more.
One of my friends drew a very nice art for my birthday (in case you haven't seen it on my Twitter, I think I really need to start uploading art drawn for me by other people on my Furaffinity), I asked for something with Volk and his dad and he did such an awesome inflation piece it inspired me to make my own rendition of it in a form of a big sequence. However, even if I announce the whole June my "Dad month" and try to dedicate as much time as possible to this sequence I still will be unable to finish it before July, not with two big mandatory comms. So, I guess June will be just a nice dad related month to just announce this sequence with first parts and then finish it without any haste in July. I also got myself some new furry crushes lately and feeling eager to draw them too so honestly I'd be glad to toss them in and vary with the sequence parts.

Also, after successfully finishing Zed Vector's bust I feel a very strong itch to finally start making similar physical art but NSFW, it would be nice to start it in June but I'm not feeling ready. I think I should think about giving my patrons a satisfying amount of content first and think about time consuming stuff like that later, after a not so rich May it's especially important to balance out this productivity drop. Another problem is that I just don't have enough money for materials if I want to make such an artwork. No curator is gonna support me this time, I didn't gain much money in May and wasted too much on various rare vintage Volk stuff again so it's better to live a bit more humble and thrifty for a while. But I'm really hoping to give my boys some real justice someday in future.
