Download Universal Unreal Engine 4 Unlocker from here:

Run the game than run Universal Unreal Engine 4 Unlocker

On Universal Unreal Engine 4 Unlocker click

In the Process to inject click on Select Lava-Win64-Shipping.exe
Than click on Inject DLL

If the game does crash just keep trying until it works
When it does press   ~   to open the console and type   open ec1

If you want to play as sonic make sure that you have coco selected before you enter the level

Installation:
Send the pak file to

Crash Bandicoot 4 Its About Time\Lava\Content\Paks\~mods

You have to create the ~mods folder inside Paks folder.
