I AM GOING TO TRY VERY HARD TO DO SOME PATRON MEET-UPS IN EVERY CITY BUT I AM REALLY TIRED, so gimme a second to catch up, and if you have any ideas for big, easy gathering spots right near the venue, hit me in comments.

At the very least, I'm going to come out RIGHT after the show every night to the lip of the stage to take a photo with all patrons, so don't leave the venue!! Come to the stage right when the last encore is over and people are exiting the venue! I'll post those photos up here when I get a chance.

It's summer, it's mountains, it's the right time to be touring down here. I just kicked off the start-of-tour energy today by hiking to the top of the Remarkables (yes, the mountains are actually called that) and swimming in freeeezing Lake Alta with three of my local pals.

This is the way to start a fucking tour, my friends.

We start tonight in Queenstown. WE ARE HOPING TO FILM AUCKLAND FOR THE PATRONS!!! Stay tuned on that.

Tonight....can we believe I'm playing...HERE? I am. This is the Sherwood. I am a lucky artist.

It's been a hot second since I wrote...a whole nine days, and you know that's not like me.

I've been flipping little videos and things out to Instagram and Facebook .... if you're follong me there just make sure you have live alerts on, since I'm doing sone fun live stuff down here.

I'm actually proud I've been so offline....I was with the kiddo 24/7, and trying to spend time with family (and succeeding!) and trying desperately to get ready for this weird-ass little tour. All amidst the loss and death of three people around New Years, which I still think I've kept pretty much bottled up. It'll probably come out on stage, so get ready. 

Amanda is feeling intense.

I'm spending most of today doing my last little bout of rehearsal for the tour, trying to figure ut which songs to play and which stories to tell, and which to save for a few decades from now. It's fun, and hard. There are too many stories. Might have to write a book.
