Hello my loves.

I'm home in Lexington, in the Dear Old House that I grew up in.

This feels like the correct launchpad for the first half-winged flight of this little fledgling tune.

I fell from up there when I was 7.

It was about a 12-foot fall over the balcony, straight to the hardwood floor below.

There was a throw rug. My mother claims that her "scottish second sight" led to her deciding to put it there there that morning for no reason she can comprehend.

I’m about to release one of the new piano dolls demos to my patrons only.

Late Sunday night for a reason. (Nobody’s online).

Everything feels right today, even though everything is wrong.

Yes; as promised, the drip-feeding of Dolls piano demos continues... as before, bear in mind this is just me and the piano, no drumsyet. The songs are also very much still works in progress; lyrics might change, arrangements might change, the whole song could go through a metamorphosis. This is just where I - and the song - are at right now.

When we played this at the Bowery, we used organ and synth, it sounds EPIC.

This demo was engineered and mixed by Pete Caigan at Utopia Studios Bearsville.

As with the last one, I'm not including the lyrics. Knock yourselves out. They're not that hard to understand. (I've already changed a handful of them since recording this demo. Sue me. I love this game).

If you're read my book (The Art of Asking), you'll understand this one a little better than most.
