hey loves...

just landed at home. fucking exhausted, but weirdly happy and relieved to be back in the states.

lots of work to do in every department. ready. ready? ready.

i'm just about to send this below info out to the general afp/dolls mailing list (which i'd love it if you were on, by the way - i only send emails there every 3-6 weeks with mega-important info: join here... http://amandapalmer.net/emaillist)

mainly...I HAVE A TON OF WEIRD POETRY GIGS in NYC coming up in april, for national poetry month. i also have a weird little appearance in boston that i am ONLY ANNOUNCING HERE on the patreon because it's so tiny.

if you're a $100+ patron, contact hayley and she can get you tickets for either the 13th or the 24th.  they've given me ONE (1!!) VIP ticket to the meryl streep gig, but i may be able to give it away here - so stay tuned. i wouldn't give that one to a $100+ backer - since it's so special i'd hold some sort of lottery for all the NY patrons and hope that it went to a perfect home. we'll see what we can do....

anyway - here's allll the info for all the gigs -

This is amazing. I'm traveling to NYC to see Kate Tempest perform that evening. It would be so great to swing by after!

I also make that sound when I get to meet someone I admire. I hope your Poetry Gigs are fun.

Its also Autism Awareness/Acceptance month so a poem or two about autism would be cool

Welcome back to our crazy quilt United States - home sweet home. It's spring at last. Have fun at the Poetry Gigs!

Yay poetry month!!! I'm jealous I can't make it to your poetry readings, and I sadly feel asleep halfway through your live Periscope of the cozy little bookshop ninja reading gig! But yeah, I am also taking part in my local poetry writing month activities and I'd foolishly challenged/commited myself to writing one haiku to match the day of the month. Has been going well so far, I hope I manage to commit till the end of the month!

Sounds like some seriously interesting events! Have a great month! I'm in BC, Canada, so very very far away from all the fun, inspiring poetry, but I wish the NYC folks the very best!

A poem for National Poetry Month wondering near the glass I see spring heading close to my eyes revealed as spring brings a new path of words.

The links for the April 24th event aren't working, and I'd love to attend that one!

Thanks Amanda, this is my first comment, became a patron yesterday. This whole Patreon thing really inspires me. You're doing such interesting stuff! Still keen to get you on my podcast at some point, especially after hearing yours with Missy Higgins! Freaking awesome!
