hello dear ones (and welcome new patrons!!!)

in the cracks of amsterdam, there's a building that leans...

i just finished with my keynote for The Resource Alliance's IFC conference...i give me a B- on that talk. the ideas were good but the presentation was a little stumble-y...i am definitely on a learning curve with public speaking. i put SOOOO much time and energy into my TED talk - it literally took a month out of my life - that everything else feels lackluster. it was a forty minute keynote with slides and i read from my mac...maybe it wasn't that bad. i'll send you some photos when i surface in a few days.

piano is evil is about to hit you. brace.

right now i'm in amsterdam with ash and justine for a day to visit with my sister alyson.... tomorrow to london, then i'll see many of you in brighton for the START OF TOUR...

i love you.

here's to great shows and good travels for this tour! <3 And I'm excited for Piano is Evil. I really liked the Kickstarter record, it has some really kick ass songs on it. It'll be great to hear different interpretations of them.

Soooo Looking forward to piano is evil. Just an artist and their instrument, preferably piano, is my favorite. Good luck with the tour. I can't go out, so fingers crossed for some footage from it or a live feed. 💖

PS. don't let Alyson make you kiss anyone or eat gross cake.

Thank you for sharing with us something from the cracks. People often dont see. The best art and feelings are stuck in there. Congrats on the keynote, the beautiful Wynken video, tour start, and the continual blooming of your career post-motherhood. Dragging a baby along for the ride, we can do all the things <3. Love you.

how is speaking different to singing with an ukulele or piano in front of an audience?

I know what you mean. Public speaking is a difficult skill to perfect- but I'm sure you did wonderfully. Keep at it ^_^ we're all cheerng for you!

It's good to evaluate yourself I think. If it had gone perfectly, where would you go to next? I'm sure no-one watching thought it was less that an A* performance. Super excited to see you in Brighton tomorrow. And I still have a spare ticket if anyone wants it? Will happily exchange it for a place to stay after the gig.
