short story:

tickets for both shows go on sale to the public THIS FRIDAY.
IT TOOK ME A SECOND TO GET MY SHIT TOGETHER (not that it's fully together or anything, but whose is??) AND I AM GOING TO START PLAYING ONE-OFF SHOWS IN AOTERAOA NEW ZEALAND BECAUSE:

1) I NEED TO MAKE UP MY WELLINGTON SHOW ANYWAY

AND

2) HOW LUCKY AM I TO BE IN A COUNTRY, PERIOD, WHERE I CAN PLAY TO REAL LIVE FLESH HUMAN BEINGS?? 

i can't take that for granted, nope. i will try to stream the hawkes bay show for patrons and/or public. stay tuned on that.

EnZed people....please, please help spread the word about these shows to everybody you know. i'm gonna play old stuff, brand new stuff written in lockdown, hug every last motherfucker who wants a huge, and general try to heal my soul on stage, where it heals best. i'm going to bleed my grateful ex-pat soul all over your boards. we're gonna sing together. we're gonna scream together. it's gonna be GOOD.

- original ticket holders for the canceled wellington show (originally scheduled back in march...remember MARCH, everybody?!) will be sent a totally separate, patreon-unrelated email today. let the venue (or me, here) know if you don't get that email and you were a ticket holder: all those ticket holders get first dibbs on tickets because that's just fair. then sales open to patrons for two days, then public. 

-  the patreon-only presale starts tomorrow, Wednesday 22 July.

- the public sales opening on Friday 24 July.

September 11th: Hawke's Bay: Toitoi OPERA HOUSE!

it's beautiful!! i took a tour through it a few weeks ago and saw a wonderful show there a few days ago. just stunning....

ROAD TRIP!!!! seriously!!! 

it's feckin' gorgeous here, and a walk through napier, the art deco city, is worth a drive if you've never seen it. 

climb te mata peak! drink some WINE!....and hastings, where the opera house is located, is also seeing a beautiful renaissance if you've never been: there's great little cafes and stores, and chances are VERY high that i'll do a secret patron-only event the day before and/or after the show...so please STAY TUNED. my fantasy is to do a whole hawkes-bay weekend with events for the kiddos, patrons, and a Q&A for artists interested in learning more about patreon.
