{strictly patron only}

hallo loves.

greetings from a coffeeshop in adelaide called seoul sisters where i just experienced the best chocolate croissant i have ever eaten. but i digress !!!!

dear new england-y peoples!!!

and new york peoples, because i bet some of you can make it. i hope you haven’t been getting too tired of my australian-centric posts.....but i am where i am and everything happens in real time. i’m going to be dropping this flash-album next week and all airwaves are gonna be australia australia australia.

BUT. FORGOTTEN MY HOMELAND, i have not.

THIS IS SUPER SECRET so please NOT A WORD ON THE INTERNET OR WE WILL GET IN TROUBLE.

neil and i are going to be spending TWO NIGHTS AT SYMPHONY HALL IN BOSTON to celebrate keith lockhart (the conductor)'s 20th anniversary.

we will co-curate two unique nights of songs and stories while the boston pops symphony plays along. jherek and i are going to arrange a few songs from THERE WILL BE NO INTERMISSION to premiere. (don’t think i’m going to miss singing “voicemail for jill” with a full symphony - especially with copley square just a few blocks away.)

this will be the only show i do in months - i am taking the rest of the american spring and summer OFF. but we couldn’t say no to this - it was too much of an honor. also - it’s a great excuse for ash to see his grandparents. WIN WIN WIN. and maybe i’ll do some ninja-ing in town while i’m there and pay homage to the Middle East (i can’t believe they are selling it, jesus.)

ok. so yeah: it's going to be magnificent and the tickets for this are going to VANISH.

neil will read, i will sing boston-related songs, we will talk about the state of the world and there will no doubt be inspiration and sadness up the ass.

the dates and info:

june 11th & 12th at symphony hall, boston

these ticket links for patrons only!!! please, again, PLEASE DO NOT SAY ANYTHING ABOUT THIS SHOW YET OR POST ANY OF THIS ON THE INTERNET!!! really. don’t be a ruiner. :) of course - you can talk to people word of mouth an encourage them to join the patreon to grab these, or share the link with your poor ol grandma who is a massive fan. but nothing on the internet, mkay??

just grab your tickets right now - i assume this patron allotment will all fly very fast - and whistle on by. okay

PLEASE NOTE - if you miss this chance - these are limited tickets available to patrons-only, first come first served, more tickets will obviously be on sale later this month to the public (in late february), so if the pre-sale sells out, that DOES NOT mean the show is sold out. got it?

I'm a newer patron and was sad to have missed your Boston shows at the start of this tour. So excited to see you both live!

Saw you at Beacon Theatre, and you blew me away as always; and the extra treat, I was able to speak with John Cameron Mitchell who was there also! Such a delight. Snagged one for the 11th. You're such an amazing inspiration, and you always give an amazing performance. I hope beyond hope you'll play "Astronaut," it's one of my favorite songs that I've yet to see you perform live. I can only imagine what it would sound like with a Symphony. Just putting hopefull wishes out there. Have a blast on the remaining shows!

Aw crap, while you're in Australia I'm in America. When you're going to be in America, I'll be in Australia.

Just got my ticket for the 11th. I think the trip will be good for me. :)

I'm really REALLY contemplating this! How fast do you you expect the presales to go? I really want to do this but, I'm in Kansas and I don't trust ordering seated tickets online due to previous experience. Site won't even give me a map. I will meditate on this. I want to go so badly and I bet it would be good for me to travel that far alone.

What a treat! Amanda, Neil and the symphony orchestra? How could i not go and bring the whole family? See you all Friday night!! 🎡

I am so excited - I wasn't in the states at the beginning of your tour, and now I am! I got my sister to come with me and I'm so excited!!!

I'm so so so pumped for this show, and for a ninja at the middle east... possibly (nooo... don't close)??!! Saw you years ago with the BSO and it was magical! Cant wait to do it again!

I'm so upset. I can go but I can't go. I can't walk and don't have any way of getting to my seats or from my car to the venue and I'm just a melted puddle of unhappiness. Bloody hell I hate my life.

patron presale will sell out very soon, if it hasn't already. it's not clear how fast the public on sale will sell, but it is extremely likely both shows will sell out entirely once all tickets are made for sale. You can order tickets by phone at calling the number listed in this post, you can speak to a ticketing agent directly who can answer any and all questions you may have about the venue and seating.

All set for the Friday show and a weekend getaway to Boston! :)

I wish I could come support. I am in Seattle and alas my schedule does not allow this trip. I did enjoy TWBNI here. Looking forward to when you visit the PNW next.
