my loves...

i'm so tired, so happy, so overwhelmed.

whelmed. over. overwhelmed.

greetings from boston, where i just got off stage from doing an in-store at newbury comics. it was very...emotional. and funny. and loud. and huggy. here's a photo by hayley rosenbum, who's been killing it with me this release week. i played some ukulele and cried a little.

just a quick heads up & reminder:

this news may have gotten lost in the shuffle, since we've been blasting you with so much BUT

i'm doing a

FREE SHOW, Q&A and SIGNING

TOMORROW

-sunday, march 10th-

at ROUGH TRADE in brooklyn

at 2 pm.

get up!!!

shower!!!

dust off your hangover, and come celebrate the birth of THERE WILL BE NO INTERMISISON with me and the rest of the new york family.

i'll take stage at 2:30: do note that there's a typo on the rough trade site that states the wrong time. it's wrong. doors are at 2pm, i'm on stage at 2:30.

address:
ROUGH TRADE
64 N 9th St, Brooklyn, NY

this event is going to be very special...i have a lot to share and talk about regarding how this record came into the world. these little in-stores are a nice way to do it before i take giant stages with curfews.

also, WHOOO HOOOO, we'll be selling the ARTBOOK (it's OUT in softcover!!!), the VINYL and the CD. you need to buy any of the above to get in, and please do, to support the brick and mortar pillars of the indie music community!!!! if you're a patron and you already have one of these, buy another and gift it.

i'll play some songs, chat about the record, take questions, get deep, hug peoples, and be me.

i'll stay at rough trade as late as i need to to sign everything.

you can pre-purchase space through the rough trade link or you can just rock up to the front door and buy the book, record, or CD to gain entrance. i will also sign anything else you bring (art of askings, ukuleles, babies) so go right ahead.

here's the link to the event:

I just talked to a girl at the Temple venue because you cant see the Philly show on the venue websites calendar of events. Doors open at 6:30 show starts at 7:30 but that's not on the printed tickets.
