Hi My Loves....

WE ARE ABOUT TO GO LIVE! It's Tuesday July 16th, and we go live at 7pm EST, that's in about an hour and a half (it's currently 5:30pm here). There's already a bunch of people there chatting (including me). Last call for requests: here: https://www.patreon.com/posts/108078420. I'm reading that thread for the next 30 minutes or so.

HERE IS THE LINK FOR THE CAST, it’s on and hopping:

Piano is ready, space is ready, crew is ready. I AM READY.

Gonna go put a nice frock on.

Let's do some music.

Music is all. Music is god.

Come join the chat and say hi to your new friends.

Again, this isn't a Q&A (that's this Thursday at 11:11 EST for the webchat tier folks, we'll do a long one, here's the linkl) but if you wanna pop a question in the box today, I'll take a look and maybe address whatever is on your collective hive mind.

Liz Grammaticas (on the right here) is also moderation the feed. Anthony Mulcahy here (on the left) is the main man in charge of the moving image.

Our engineer is Pete Hanlon.

Look how backlit. Look how serious.

Again: we go live at 7pm EST, and the concert will be under two hours.

Here's the link again...go start chatting.

I love you.

If you miss it, the archive will stay up.

I love you all.

I'll add the setlist to this post after we're done and re-up this post tomorrow.

Between the Bars, or hell, anything by elliott smith, always gives me the feels. I loved how you created that piano intro in minor keys to lead up to his heartbreaking lyrics -- it made me think of his song in an entirely new light., kind of like a spiral. When I was a teenager, I carried a binder of elliott's lyrics - in that typewriter font that made up the liner notes of his first few albums - around with me in my backpack. Yep, I was that kid. When we were supposed to be studying history, I'd pull out the binder from the back row of the classroom and stare at elliott's words. I didn't understand them but I loved them anyway - they were my touchstone. Anyway. Thank you, Amanda. For being able to bring back good, melancholy memories of my teen-hood and for helping me to reframe them. Bless you <3
