Send me a flare using this poll if you think you can come to a ninja gig/patron gathering in your area so I can get a headcount, and read the below!! (...and if you are coming to multiple cities, just pick one...it won't matter too much to the overall numbers.) 

I could use help - from you LOCALS - sourcing some places !!! If you have IDEAS for places we can gather, please UPVOTE that concept if you're local and you think you can come/support. That'll help me wade though all the comments on this post! You can also email us at management@amandapalmer.net and Michael and I will catch it.

Once we nail ALL the patron ninja gathering plans, I'll send a final post with details...ASAP.

ALSO, a reminder that I traditionally take a picture with the patrons after EVERY SHOW!!! So just go to the stage the MINUTE the show is over and the house lights are on, look for Michael, and we will snap a quick picture. I'm usually a sweaty and exhausted mess. We won't be signing merch after most of these shows

Greetings from my kitchen in Woodstock, New York, where I am deep in tour prep, Sinéad O'Connor @ Carnegie Hall Tribute prep, momming, and general chaos-juggling. I'm sitting here with Michel going over the endless list of SHIT TO DO, including setting up fun tour stuff. HE IS COMING! Ypu will see him at the Dolls shows (and these gatherings)

It's gorgeous, though, the buds and little flowers are bursting out of the ground, the birds are coming back and singing in my ears every morning, and the air is warming up.

I feel alive-er that I have in a while, and it helps that a lot of you loved the new dresden dolls demo I sent you in the dead of night on Saturday. If you missed that....go listen.

So. New flowers, new birds, new songs, new movements...this is what I needed to crack my heart out of the dark, where it's been withering for a little while.

AND NOW.....I AM ABOUT TO HIT THE ROAD WITH MY BAND, THE DRESDEN DOLLS, IT IS TOUR BUS TIME (The band will be traveling by BUS for the first time in YEARs), and I wanna try to see as many of you patrons as possible while I'm out there on the road!!!!

SO HERE IS THE SCHEDULE, and the ideas, and I WILL NEED HELP FROM YOU LOCALS to find/locate/decide on good spots for us to gather and mingle as I cruise through your villages.

I've tended to find that the BEST time to gather with y'all patrons is on DAY TWO of a two-day run for the band, or on the morning after a long run. We have ONE UNUSUAL OFF DAY in JACKSON, MISSISSIPPI, and this is gonna be a real treat. (See below.

DOORS are 7pm, STAGE TIME 8pm SHARP, for ALL SHOWS!!! NO OPENERS.

And don't forget we just added PHILLY and DC!!! I'll work on gatherings/ninja gigs for those dates closer to the time, but get tickets. DC is pretty much sold out, so we may add a second show on the 15th.

So here's the general NINJA PLAN...and I have questions.

1) AUSTIN! PATRON GATHERING PLAN ALREADY SORTER!: @ MoHA! SATURDAY, MARCH 23rd.

The actual Dresden Dolls show: two nights at the Mohawk, March 22 & 23. 

I have contacted our old pals at the Museum of Human Achievement, where we did a ninja gig in 2016 with Thor and Friends (were you there??). Here's a photo of that magical day....

(And here's a video of me and thor & Co. playing a freshly-written "Machete" for a group of people...I had forgotten about this. It was really magical. I had JUST HAD A BABY and was there to bring little baby Ash to meet Uncle Thor...and couldn't help myself.

2) DALLAS!!! PATRON GATHERING SPOT TBD, MARCH 27th around 3-5pm!

The actual Dresden Dolls show: two nights at the Kessler Theater, March 26 & 27.

I'm thinking somewhere near-ish the venue, but it could be anywhere as long as people have time to get over to the show !!! WHAT YOU GOT DALLAS?? 

Anyone have access to a space? LEt's see how many people RSVP and what we got. Gallery, bar, art space, huge mansion....hit me. Here in comments and/or management@amandapalmer.net.

3) SURPRISE!!!!! WE HAVE AN ENTIRE OFF/TRAVEL DAY IN JACKSON, MISSISSIPPI!!!! (THURS, MARCH 28th). WHAT SHALL WE DO??

Oh yeahhhhhh. So: the Dolls have NEVER BEEN TO MISSISSIPPI. Or many once, long ago? 

I don't think so.

Our tour bus is going to be stopping in JACKSON en route from Dallas to Atlanta.....

We get in that morning and we leave late that night, but we have the WHOLE DAY IN JACKSON!!!

Tell me: where's the good coffee?? Where's the good yoga??

AND CAN ANYONE HOST A NINJA GATHERING?? It would be just lovely.

I'm thinking around 3-7pm window on March 28th.

If nothing else, if there's nowhere obvious inside, and the weather's ok, we can meet outside, but you never know...so I'd rather find a place we can gather indoors. Who's got an idea? Church basement? Yoga studio? Library after hours? Cat cafe? Graveyard? Somebody's house - if there's space? Depends on the number of people, for sure.

Where is a good place - outdoors and near the venue? If anyone knows a good indoor place RIGHT NEAR THE VENUE (so I can walk straight to the venue for soundcheck!) let me know, but it seems unlikely that we'd find a free place to gather with that many people (it's gonna be a lotta people). Let me know...

5) NASHVILLE, SAME! I'm thinking we gather somewhere outside before the show, Saturday March 30th, around 3-5pm.

Locals: what do you think of right across the street from the venue, Bicentennial Carillon??

Seems nice. Something RIGHT nearby so I can get straight to soundcheck!
