It's been a while since Lexie made her first appearance, huh? It's uh... it's complicated.

While everything regarding to the comic was great, it also kinda burned me out a bit with the amount of work that it required. This is also why I would LOVE to do another comic, with say Susan or Nicky (that one I actually tried), the work just kept stacking on and on. While I can and would improve the workflow with each attempt, it doesn't change the fact that it is still a lot of work. Even if the Lexie comic itself basically took place over a few minutes at most.

Later on when I tried to continue Lexie I opted for a more regular format; One finished scene with a story slapped onto it. But every attempt I did... it just kinda softlocked. Nothing to really build up towards besides her relationship and to fill in the blanks. Those attempts did lead to a couple of good WIP images, with fewer finished pieces that I still do like. Those I will upload soon.


I have been sitting on this for almost two years, waiting until I have more- or at least when I had her future figured out. But that day still has not come, and I ultimately decided to just upload this as is. As unfinished as it is (going until week 36), better to get it out there then just collecting dust. I do really like her design, so do not be surprised when you see someone very similar to her pop up much, much later down the line.
