The everlasting struggle of showing the characters vs starting off powerful with a mighty strong angle... Anyway as the end is drawing near, I still continue to have idea pop up left and right, but it would be difficult and perhaps even jarring to quickly add them in, especially if they're from different sizes. In the future I would like to revisit this progression, and see if I can't flesh it out some more. There are plenty of stuff (like mentioning engorgement a lot but never really making a scene focusing on it or the kicks OR even a proper side-by-side) that I could've done different, but that are much better off with some time in between. Allows me to put it to rest and move onto something else, while still leaving my options open.

That is to say that I haven't really planned a revisit like this before, it usually just kinda happened as a result of time. I'm hoping the same will happen here, but I can't guarantee it.

BUT in either case, there are still 2 more to go. That, with everything else should at least be a decent progression between 4 sizes!

To Grace, the next three years felt they took forever, yet somehow also flew by in an instant. Before she knew it, she was watching how Alex was opening her baby shower gift. She looked positively glowing- exactly how Grace wanted to feel back then. Their mutual friend Sofi was as well, their pregnancies bonding them closer together. And at that moment, a switch flipped in her brain. The prospect of having children actually brought some excitement to her mind. Even with the less-than-ideal circumstances, it was something she was willing to bear. For them.

Her emotions swelled up and despite her best attempts at holding in her tears, she started to let it all out. The group comforted her to the best she can, waving away her apologies for supposedly ruining the babyshower. It was that moment she fully realized how lucky she was, and that she was finally ready.
