Hey :)
This post is obsolete since I revealed the full Set of December here.

Hello friends!

I'm so proud to finally being able to share with you the sculpts I carefully sculpted for you for december :)

You are invited to turn on the audio, and click play on the trailer above!
Here the link in case it doesn't work.

During the first week of this month, I published a post proposing a different set for one month, to help me "think out of my-box" and recharge my creativity by doing something different from the usual 6 units, 4 mounts, 2 heroes.
You can read the post here.
I honestly have been astonished by your positive reaction, I have been invested by your support, comments and ideas, and I can't simply be more happy.
Thanks from the depths of my heart <3
I sculpted non stop since the end of the last month till yesterday night, and now I'm really happy to have made this very special set.
I hope you'll read the lore of each character in the paragraphs below, I really spent lots of time crafting the design and background of each hero.
Meet the Golem Simulacra
Made from metal and minerals, the intricate Golem Simulacra (Simulacrum as singular) is my response to the huge requests of warfogred heroes. So many people regularly ask for a mechanical thief, a warforged paladin, or a mage, or a druid, and so on.
This is the reason why I created the Golem Simulacra race and made a believable space for them in my universe.
Very few members of this race exist in the world of Mundus, and most of the living being who inhabits it have never seen one, except the Gnomes of Golemmar (who invented them).
A Heroic Set is something I came up thinking on how to meet the needs of the players... with so many classes that works fine on metallic adventurers I want to make most of them now.
Every Hero of this release is modular, so you have tons of freedom using new and old weapons, resize older ones (in case some race have larger or smaller hands) and so on.

Wow! I am so excited to see these on my painting table!

Jim Sørensen

I love this set. I know it won't be for everyone, but I like the options presented for a race that normally don't get to much attention. I think you've made som interesting heroes, that serves as great inspiration for future characters. Clay Westwood is probably my favorite one, among this pack of beautiful models. For those who missed it, this is a pack of war-forged heroes, so not the regular set we're used to get. But the regular sets will continue in January, so no need to panic.

Guillermo Gonzalez

I actually have a gnome gunmage in a Rhyme of the Frostmaiden campaign and his name is Glint Westwood. I have been looking for some stl all over the web that would have adequate magelock pistols, and Clays are it!!!

I love the set! Warforged have always been an under-designed race so happy and excited to print these!

David Ammann

I know there are those who will feel the exact opposite, but a long sought character type done with a lot of individuality is so good for me. I’d give up a pinup for a character like Clay every month, no question. I use my minis for ttrpg purposes, not war gaming, so 10/10 minis I can actually use is more value than I typically get here. This month is a win for me, an artistic treat, and just so so good. Thank you for this month!

All of these are great, but I love the wargolem the most. Great job and keep up the good work.

Incredible designs! <3

Mallaury Ferneschola

No pinup and very few models, thanks for giving us a good reason to unsubscribe! If you do not give us as many models and if you cut a part of it, aka the pinup AND the troops, just so you get to slack off one month, the least you can do is also to charge us less. Every model you do are quality, so quality is not a factor of it a release is good or not in my opinion. Yes, they do look great, but if I have to compare with the Baal releases and the Arcanist release, it feels really weak.

Anonymous

You call this slacking off? These are incredible models of a very sought after style for insanely cheap. So long - this sort of attitude won't be missed, I'm sure.

Anonymous

He did give fair warning, want to unsub? Fair, but don´t bitch about it mate.

Billy Miles

"very few models" - these are modular, so you're getting a lot more than just these, really. and "no pinup"...? lol yeah i can see how that could piss off somebody!

Mallaury Ferneschola

Every troops were modular, so how are these models being modular but with less quantity an excuse? aside of few mechanical details on the faces, they wear clothes that would work for non warforged heroes. So yes, factually we get less bang for our bucks. The least we could have is to pay less if we get less. If we do not fight when people give us worse than usual, then no wonder that prices rise everywhere since no one fights back. Example, the Arcanist release was two months ago, if the Witchblade girl got replaced with Amber posted here, everyone would have gotten a warforged hero that fit the release. Garett and Clay would have worked perfectly in the City of intrigue stuff. I got mages and bounties hunters recently, so aside of them being mechanical, it feels like I play for slightly different things I bought recently.

Whiskeyjack

The models are gorgeous, but honestly I was sad to see no pinup as they are my favoritemodels to paint each month. You've managed to make a pinup each month fit the theme no matter how bizarre the race is. I was looking forward to see how you did the warforged pinup. Hopefully next month we can return to having a sexy someone to paint.

Mallaury Ferneschola

Or we can push to have one this month even if it comes on christmas! there is no reason for us not to have what we should have for the usual price

Whiskeyjack

Artisan Guild has provided excellent quality and value every month since the beginning. The monthly fee is like buying 1 or 2 premium files on myminifactory. I don't feel like he owes us anything as he has provided a decent value. I was simply sad to miss the pinup. But if he doesn't want to make one this month that's fine. Pushing him to make one will not inspire good work, it will just be disrespecting his wish to have a break. We all need a break from time to time. I understand you're frustrated with the release this month as you've made many posts today about it, but maybe you could consider letting it go and looking forward to next month, or unsubscribing if you really feel like your getting no value for your purchase.

Anonymous

So don't pay. It's that simple. You don't like the work next month? Unsubscribe and let your money speak, and let the vast majority of us be excited for a release of warforged from AG that has been requested for almost 2 years.

Jason Burke

I absolutely love these models. Awesome work!

Hellvlad

Titan Forge provides twice as much content fully modular. What set Artisan guild aside was the pin up. His loss, competition is fierce.

Anonymous

I wouldn't say vast majority. Just cause the few comments here tend to agree with you doesn't mean the entire group feels that way. I am not happy about the lack of numbers with this release. I wasn't even going to comment till I read your reply where you seem to think you speak for most of us.

Hellvlad

Yeah, I'm sure it's going to be very helpful to the creator to tell people giving a constructive feedback to basically fuck off, quit bitching and unsub. That's exactly what he needs.

Anonymous

I disagree, I think Artisan Guild's unique art style set it apart from its competitors.

Anonymous

I've been wanting to have my kids take over the printing portion of my hobby but ive held off on Artisan Guild because of the pin-ups. Im actually glad not to see any in this set. And these warforged are quite well imagined! Especially the wooden warforge / crazy druid chick :D Now thats an original idea.

Anonymous

I'm pretty sure the numbers of people staying subbed versus people leaving speak for themselves next month. A vocal minority is certainly vocal, but still a minority.

Anonymous

There's constructive feedback, then there's this - telling the artist that they didn't do enough and don't deserve to be paid for their hard work because it's not precisely what you want. There's a gulf of difference between the two.

B. Griffith

Yeah, what makes Artisan Guild better, up in my opinion, than Titan Forge is the style. Titan Forge was the first fantasy mini maker I subscribed to, but I don’t anymore, and AG is my longest consecutively subscribed fantasy Patreon. TF makes nice, serviceable, but honestly pretty bland minis. AG has STYLE. Even when doing something as basic as thieves, they just ooze character, and all have fantastic dynamic poses. If you just care about quantity, fine, but the artistry isn’t even in the same ballpark. That said, I like the pinups, too. They may not always be as USEFUL as other models, but they’re fun.

B. Griffith

I hope, after the recent announcement, that you feel like you were kind of a jerk.

Mallaury Ferneschola

If anything you all who complained about us who pointed a real issue should thank us instead because we got what we deserve in the end, a full ONE release. It being marketed as a double release is just absurd and to try to imply that the previous release was a full one. Now we got our full release trailer right in time.

ArtisanGuild

Hey Mallaury, I can see your frustation, but I honestly spent between 2 to 3 days on each one of the extra heroes I made, about 3 times what I need to make one of the modular models (after I spend more time making the first armor). I had to run like a crazy and spend several night working to make what I call a double release. To me it has been exactly the double of the job. I hope you enjoy the models!
