Hail Adventurers!
How's your week going?

We are exploring the Hobgoblin theme as the next monthly release, coming in august, will be about a legion of evil hobgoblins.

Inspired by the old school orcs and goblins from the Lord of the Rings and Lodoss War (one of our favourite Anime), the Artisan Guild universe will portray this evil creatures as taller and stronger cousins of the Goblin, but less industrious.
The warmonger Hobgoblin legion often cooperate with the Sparksoot Goblins and the Greatgoblin.

It is yet unclear for us exactly wich model will be part of the next release, but the sculptor is trying hard to make for a "epic-boss like" wartroll as Heroic Beast of the mount. It will not be an easy task as we already are in the middle of the month, but we will try our best!
Among the "terrain" ideas (we'd better call those unanimated things now!), we'd love to have a Hobgoblin Chariot with Razorbeasts (warpigs) pulling it, if we manage to make it in time for August.

above one of the modular Hobgoblin Legionaries, one of the 3 Razorbeast Rider, and finally one Hobgoblin Marksman. All of them are modular (swappable mount and swappable hands/weapons). The Marksman looks epic with spear and shield for example!

We are really excited to continue working on this set, and that's why the update was so small. Time to get back to concepting and sculpting!

Have a great week guys!

Love the look of these hobgoblins...perfect in my mind! And I love the sketch vid and the look of the hobgoblin spellcaster in that. Great sculpting, and I'm really looking forward to that set!! :)

He is looking a bit like Haggar the Witch from the newest Voltron show. Which is a good look.

I can’t wait for this to drop!

Considering I've started running Red Hand of Doom with my D&D group, this is fantastic!

Awesome cool models, I am so happy to be part of this supporter team! :D

Nice release. Surely is more usable for wargames than thief guild :) (good proxies for Kruleboyz, thank you AG). Is it possible for the caster having a smoke effect rather than energy effect? About the mounted troll and chariot, I hope you can make them on time (specially the mounted troll).

Hi guys looks great, was interested in getting into digital art. What software are you using for this ?

Loving these Updates and Video timelapses!

Wonderful update! They look sexy as usual. I would love to see the troll mount because it is would be uniquie. We already have boars. Though they are great sculpts they are getting boaring .. hahaha. I could not resist. A naked dancing hobgoblin would be sexy too. She could be dancing with flaming hoops. :) Thanks for all of your hard work.

Bring on the Tortles!! A sadly unappreciated race in the minis world.

Anonymous

These look so great! Please give us the chariot! I need some for my Kings of War armies.

Anonymous

as much as i'd like to see chariots i don't think hobs would be smart enough ? more of a brutish group, so i'll venture to say another mount lol.

Absolutely love your work. Would it be possible on the read me texts of your models to throw in base size dimensions for scaling purposes, especially with the bigger non 1-inch models? Using as many models as I can for D&D, that manticore was “gargantuan”, love it still though ❤️.

Anonymous

loving the look of these guys, especially the armor style and the leaner look of the boar.

In your slicer, scale the base to the size you like by looking at the dimensions. Once happy with the base size, as they should be standard to you game rules, scale the miniature to the base and you're all set. Do this with both the base and the mini both loaded in the slicer at the same time so you can compare them. There is no need for what you're asking for if done in this way. Works great for my scaling needs. Hope this helps.
