LORE AND PICTURES

Following an ancient pact with Duum, the God of Ferocity and War, this powerful Orc clan became immortal.
At the price of protecting the temple of Ferocity amid the frozen peaks of Skutagaard, the damned Orcs and Ogres of the Frostmetal clan have gained exceptional control of the Necromantic Arts, making them among the most dangerous warriors in the Frozen Lands.
The Orcs and Ogres of the Frostmetal Clan boast excellent black metal armor with reinforced bones; their Frostbite weapons are instruments of death made of eternal ice and pure ferocity.
The oldest Frostmetals fight relentlessly seeking heroic death in battle.

Kentargh Grotar
He himself made a pact with the God of War, ambitious to gain immortality and increase his power. He was given Helsword, an insatiable cursed blade capable of controlling the armies of the dead.

Gothrak Doomfist
Last Warlord of Frostmetal, Gothrak protects Skutagaard's peaks from any invaders, charging head-on with his mighty ice hammer. He and his ogres are the most brutal and powerful members of the clan.

Logranna Helforge
A tenacious blacksmith and warrior, Logranna grew up with a forge and a runic hammer that once belonged to a Dwarven Artisan lord. Pouring all his ferocity into each of his creations, Logranna crafted each of the enchanted Frostbite Blades and Axes employed by the clan.

Armored Frosthorn
The mighty Frosthorn is Skutagaard's most dangerous mammal, a towering mass of muscle and fur capable of breaking through the walls of a fortress.

Worg Riders
Frostmetal Worgs are ferocious strong and fast. In order to form an otherwise impossible bond, Orcs receive a Worg Cub at an early age and train him hard for years.

Frostdoom Shrine
The ancient tales says that this shrine cursed by Duum, carved from the bones of a twisted Titan, is capable of rising the skeletons of who brutally fall in battle in its surroundings. It is here that Kentargh's Helsword has been forged.

Great Minis and I love that you have us another alternative for the download. I just wrote to you due to problems I had with the welcome package

Anonymous

Looking forward to an undead release finally, especially after seeing the skeletons from this month's release.

Paul Goodwin

I’m so pumped for these; the pinup in particular is a freaking badass!

Anonymous

Undead?! I'm so excited! I was just thinking about how badly I wanted a set of AG skeletons!

Angel Sainz

Excited to see what you do for undead mounts

Angel Sainz

Also, I’d love to see zombie trolls or any kind of fantasy race undead

LP Wilson

So excited for this! I'm looking forward to Guilds more as well, can't wait to learn more about that and test-drive it

Anonymous

does anyone know the scale reduction for every model to fit into a normal 25-30mm base. I mean, just printed the big orc and its huge. Id like to have it scaled to a simple size, like an infantry unit.

Anonymous

Thank you and awesome minis

Anonymous

So effing happy to see the FrostmetalClan released. Imho your best release so far. Great start into 2021. Thank you!

Anonymous

Love your work.. more baddies to come

Jimmy Trinket

Holy heck, these look amazing! Thanks AG!!! And also really looking forward to the undead series, the skellys in this release look terrifyingly good.

Jimmy Trinket

Hi L.G, I'm not sure of the reduction scale for these models, however, I use the free Sid Scale set of miniatures from Printable Scenery to check the scale on my slicer. The set comes with 7 minis scaled from 50mm down to 10mm and even has a set for Flames of war. I scale all my stuff down for D&D and SID works a treat. You can also change his height for heroic scale. Good luck!

Anonymous

Downloading now, love MyAirBridge so much more than Sync! No wonder you folks prefer Orcs and Ogres (and Dwarves) over the other races, you are masters at creating them! Considering how well your Zeek's turn out as well, I stand by my preference to one day see an AG Thri-kreen set someday so I can add them to my list of baddies for my FFXI themed campaign. Followed by an AG Tortle set :)

Anonymous

Was there a pre-supported version of the stand alone weapons? I may have missed it. If not I can support them myself but if there was one it would save time. Great set by the way, I am excited to get back into painting!

Anonymous

Awesome stuff! Trying to print the frost horn now, but noticed the presup base doesn't fit the sonic mini plate - possible to have it slightly adjusted?

ArtisanGuild

Hello Montemore :) We normally don't support the standalone weapons as they are meant for digital kitbashing (for example by inserting into other releases hands), sorry!

Anonymous

great job this month guys i just printed doomfist and it’s so great it’s getting me back into 3d printing

Anonymous

Hey, did you have any issues with the pre-supported files failing on the left arm/cape? I have tried twice now with this model and failing in the same areas :(

Ian Martin

hi i'm new to the whole 3D printing and having some issues and looking for any advice.i just printed out the first ork rider and the worg and rider came out amazing but the axe failed along the shaft and the whole base failed pritty much straight away. Anyone have any tips my build plate is level i checked before the print.

Anonymous

I had similar issues when I started last year. I had issues with pieces breaking mid-print and just not sticking. I won't say this is necessarily the problem, but it helped me out. What I did was increase the layer times on my printer. Obviously different printers and resins will require different settings from mine, but increasing the base layers by (I think it was) 2 seconds made a huge improvement on my prints succeeding. I do think I added a second to my regular layers too, but if the base didn't stick to the build plate this could help. Other than that maybe adding an extra support to the axe to improve its stability during printing?

Enty

Sorry to trouble, but I've got a new-to-me file type (.pws) in the Frostmetal Ogre F folder: Ogre_Marauder_F_(lady) + Mani Gino.pws I looked up the abbreviation, which comes from Corel Paint - but it doesn't open as either an image file or a printable file. Can someone give me a clue what I'm supposed to do with it? Thanks in advance :)

D. Raynes III

.pws files are used by Anycubic's Photon printers. If you don't have a Photon or Photon S there isn't much you can do with it, you'll need to export the STLs or Lychee files to a different format.

Enty

So... this is a slicer file? A conversion from an .stl?

MrWho

Does somebody else have problem with the supported "Frostmetal Worg A" and "Frostmetal_Worg_C" ? Frostmetal Worg A: From 3 prints the lower yaw is either missing or mislocated and the tongue does not like to stay in one place = splitting up. Frostmetal Worg C: His tail tip is ripping of the supports - that one has a different support structure compared to Worg A&B - and gets reatached later with the tailbase.

Anonymous

No entiendo. Cual es la clave para obtener descuentos en la pagina anexada?

Ian Martin

Hi i've printed worg A with no issues. I used the pre-supported files. I did have to turn the lift speed down a bit on my ones as the supports where failing but after reducing the lift speed they are all coming out great. I've not done C yet so i cant say on that one.

Vincent Clayton

I did't get this bundle for the month of December

Anonymous

Los publican de repente, ahorita no se si todavía este la oferta del sitio con el 50% de descuento. ese código te lo dan ahi mismo en la pagina de myminifactory.com

Anonymous

Did anyone has successfully printed the frosthorn? Mine got stucked on the tray because it i to heavy (reduced to 90% to fit) and the supports couldn't hold him.

Ian Martin

I printed out frost horn last night/today needed 3 prints due the size. First time was a total fail but it was more down to my settings i reduced the lift speed then had no issues. The supports are great and leave virtually no marks just getting the printer dialed in for them was a pain. I've printed about 5 build plates worth now with no issues.

Ian Martin

Is there anyway to get the great goblins from last month? It did say they would be avaliable for 2 months but i cant find a link for them?

Anonymous

Scaled down supports fail a lot. Most the time I end up supporting them myself, due to me using them for my d&d game with a smaller size. Usually 80%.

David Lyse

Andrea & Francesca, the Artisan Guild produces, in my opinion, some of the best, most detailed, and dynamic miniatures of all the artists for whom I am a patron. Please keep up the excellent work!

LordOOTFD

Try scaling the lys model in Lychee slicer, it will scale the model without changing the supports which may work better for you.

Anonymous

Opposite. You get the STL files and need to Slice them.

Anonymous

My Frostmetal Skeletons failed. I mounted both pre-supported models on the Photon Zero. The supports printed, but the bodies failed. The lift speed is at 60mm/min w/ a 6 sec. exposure. Any thoughts?

Anonymous

the deepwood alfar and amazon set seems to be missing from my mini factory, is there any chance of being able to purchase those? love the models!

Rob Leonard

Has anyone noticed the weird mesh on the anvil's runes (not the AG side, the other side)? The AG runes look appropriate and a good depth to print, but the runes on the other side look shallow, and with a weird mesh...like some autofix utility screwed up. I see this on the unsupported and pre-supported files.

David Snodgrass

I would love to see some of those orc skeletons released as a terrain pack.

Anonymous

Man I just got out the front of my armored frosthorn, you guys killed it! This is already my favorite model you guys have done so far, I love it. It dethroned the Hydra I bought from you guys. So cool.

Anonymous

Any news on the renders for these?

rurk admin

link don't work

Philippe De Braekeleer

Awesome release. What's the scale of your minis? 32mm? Because I'm usually upscaleing to 40mm

Anonymous

Hi, has there been any updates to the files? Don't see an update log. Previously was mentioned that you guys are looking into the presup file for the frosthorn base to fit smaller printers?

Incandescent Dragon Creations

check temp. most resin needs minim 20-25C to print, some even need 30C. slow down your lift speed to 60, and print an amerilabs town test. see if at 6s you get 3 1/2 rows of pillars and the space needle. if these are not formed, increase exposure by a second and try again. once you get 3 1/2 rows or more of the pillars and the space needle, you should be able to print it

Anonymous

Same. I'd like to download this.

Anonymous

I would also like to download it please.

Anonymous

Same, Link is no longer available; however, it's still Jan...

Anonymous

It is Jan 31, why can't I download?

Anonymous

What happened? I just became a patreon to download them tonight because I saw how cool they are... it's still January, but they're not available?

Anonymous

You should have received an email from Patreon saying you received a message from Artisan Guild which will have the download link (one for Sync and one for MyAirBridge) and password in it.

Anonymous

i got the email but the Sync link is no longer available

Anonymous
