Weekend Update 12/24/23 (Patreon)

This week I finished the animation part of the Murder game over scene, I just need to add sound and other effects to it which I'm currently working on.

I was previously using a custom made blender add on to record and export unity events in blender, however I recently moved to a new laptop and updated blender and have been unable to locate exactly where that add on is. I've attempted to remake it but I can't get the output of the addon to match the expected input of the code I made in Unity.

I've also decided that Murder's "holiday" event will be available every night at 3 AM. While in development it will be freely available but once it's published it will only be available if you open the game between 3:00 and 3:05. This is mostly because I wildly missed the Halloween release but I also like the idea of alluding to the "3 AM challenge" memes/videos.

I'm also attempting to do some last minute bug fixes, which I should be able to get done after Christmas, probably on the 26th or late on the 25th (24-48 hours from now). Once those are done I'll upload a build here and send out a notification on Discord.

UPDATE 12/30/23:
This took much longer than expected due to continued bugs and inconsistencies trying to get the animation out of blender and into Unity, but I have attached the beta build with the animations as they stand right now. Currently the second pumping loop is done as well as the transition to it. The climax animation is half complete, it's the final animation stage in this build the one that plays before it loops back to the beginning.

You can preview the new animation as usual by going through the "Patron Rewards" menu on the title screen and clicking "Demo new scene".
