Monday Update 03/22/21 (Patreon)

Last week I started replacing the old Springtrap model with the new one, which required some refinement to her "ear physics". I also added a new reskin of Springtrap to the toy box under "premium sexbots" called "Balla Bunny".

I'm aiming to have Springtrap's ears be completely procedural, which should end up being both higher quality and much less work on my part. However, when adding the new model to the previously made non-pegging animation it became apparent that there was a problem when Springtrap dipped her head forward: her ears would clip through her shoulders and her head. I added colliders to restrict the movement of her ears to prevent them from intersecting her head, arms, and upper torso. I also need to remake the rig for the ears to include extra data points since the ears were clipping through the shoulders in the middle of the previous bones. The result isn't "perfect" now but I'm pleased with some of the results I've gotten such as her ears naturally resting onto her shoulders or arms when gravity pulls them over.

I'm going to be working extra hard this week since I'd like to have a public release ready on April 1st since all the holiday events are around that time. I'll also be adding a Festivus skin in the toy box for Springtrap (probably an arctic hare) since everyone will have a chance during the week of April fools to unlock the skins. After the public release I'll be taking my quarterly week off to recoup from the crunch.
