PSA - This Patreon Now Charges Up Front (Patreon)

Patreon has finally given me the ability to charge patrons up front, which I have enabled so that I can forgo some of the confusing workarounds I've been using to prevent abuse of Patreon's systems. This does however leave me with a new potential issue:  new patrons will be charged immediately AND on the first of the following month.

If you sign up towards the end of the month and didn't intend to pay again so soon you have a couple options:

If you sign up less than a weekbefore the first of the following month, send me a message on patreon and I will issue a refund for the following month. Patreon says that it can take 5-7 days for refunds to be processed this way, read this FAQ for patreon's refund policy: https://patreon.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/205032045-What-is-Patreon-s-refund-policy-.

If you don't want to wait 5-7 days for a refund your only option is to cancel your pledge before the first.
