Friday The 13th Update (Patreon)

 Update: I spoke with GameJolt, they were able to restore F*NAF if I censored the F word in the title and thumbnail I'll leave the link for SmutCube.Com for Patrons. 

This morning I was greeted with an e-mail from Game Jolt saying F*NAF had been reported for an "abusive title" and as a result had been deleted. This means all the views, ratings, comments, download stats, and followers were removed from Game Jolt, without warning, because of an (ostensibly single) user report and an automated process. I've sent a message to them in their discord seeing if the page can be restored, in the mean time FuckNAF is available at: 

http://smutcube.com/FuckNAF.rar

On the plus side, download speeds appear to be significantly faster on my website. If GameJolt does restore F*NAF I may offer direct downloads from SmutCube.com to patrons as a small reward. 

This week in admin stuff:

When I implemented the weighted voting system I mentioned that Patreon doesn't offer a neat and tidy way of implementing weighted voting and that I would be looking at alternatives elsewhere. Since then I have been exporting the poll results into excel and manually calculating the weights from there while casually looking for a service that meets my needs. However, it's become apparent that the only way I will get exactly what I want will be to do it myself.

Technical Stuff:

So this week I started laying the ground work for the new voting system which will be a small Unity Web Game utilizing a proprietary API on SmutCube.com, this is my first foray into PHP programming so I'm taking caution for the sake of security. Right now I'm looking into either using Patreon's API to authorize users, or to issue Voter Keys and then message those to processed patrons. The former would be easier for you, the latter would be easier for me, to what degree remains to be seen. 

I will be coming back to this during the first week of May at which point it might be implemented.

Next week:

Next week I'll be return to game design, Threesome animations won the content poll so there's a poll to determine who the participants of that threesome will be, the poll will close on the 16th and in the mean time I will be programming in triggers for exactly when a "threesome /foursome / fivesome" animation should trigger. If I finish with that before the end of the poll I will be improving the Toy Box to allow toys to be "combined" or "locked" together so that they remain synced.
