For the third month in a row there has been a significant margin of votes for F*NAF. The way I have been handling the results of that poll has been dividing up the weeks of the month based on the ratio of the votes. For the past few months this has meant that I have assigned 1-2 weeks for HCD and 2-3 weeks for F*NAF. This has caused developmental problems for both games as jumping between both games on a biweekly or sometimes weekly basis necessitates the inefficient process of relearning the inner workings and systems of each game's code base.

Therefore, I am proposing an alternative to the way the results from the time allocation poll are handled.

The Two Options Are:

Ratio Based:

Continue with the way things have been: assign one week of the month for each 25% of the votes that each project gets.

Pros:

Even those in the minority voting pool receive some development time

Cons:

Development is stunted for all projects due to natural inefficiencies.

Winner Take All:

The winner of the poll will receive sole attention for that month. This will mean at least 3 weeks of development every month (the first week being reserved if necessary for misc stuff like administrative tasks, research, experimentation, or small-scale week long projects).

Pros:

Naturally more efficient and less stressful.

Cons:

The minority loses, This will likely mean that HCD is put on an indefinite hiatus.

If the winner takes all option wins there will be more fnaf content out in a month just saying.

Agreed

I would have to say winner takes all, don't put too much on your plate, take things one project at a time

I'd say switch back and forth when you get bored of working on one
