I'm pretty sure it's C because of the hijinks previously discussed when serving. The example was telling the secretary that you're there for a meeting and then getting in the door to hand off the papers to the boss. If you could just hand them to the secretary then none of that would be necessary.

It’s B because the defense of insufficient process must be asserted by motion and before any responsive pleading is filed (like an Answer). Here, the defendant answered the complaint and therefore waived the defense of insufficient process. Yes, giving it to an employee is likely insufficient process, but this is not how you avail yourself of the defense. EDIT: wow, got this so incredibly wrong. Glad I’m done taking bar exams. Lol
