I feel that it must be B because I've already heard the show where the answer was given. Otherwise I would have had no idea. Thomas, there are many principles of law that one can know only by studying them beforehand. They might seem reasonable enough once one has learned them, or they might be accepted as peculiarities, but a person can't be expected to deduce or intuit them. That's the way technical knowledge is in any field, no? Practice in that field then provides skill--and skill makes the activity look easy, even when it really, really isn't. I think the remarkable point is that you can do as well as you do in this inherently unfair contest. Andrew has said repeatedly that when he talks to other lawyers, they're surprised that you can get significantly more than the 25% that would be expected from random guessing. The fact that you get more than twice that percentage should never, in my opinion, be viewed as losing, even as a joke.
