17 year old murderer Kyle Rittenhouse was treated as a friend by the police even after he killed two people. Jacob Blake was shot in the back 7 times despite being unarmed. The difference? You already know it. Andrew gives us the breakdown of what happened, and what possible legal defenses we might see from Rittenhouse and the horrible right wingers who are already embracing him.

In the first segment, we get a positive update on the USPS from a listener. And in the final segment, we get more positive news, this time from the Gavin Grimm case we've previously covered.

How often has everyone taken their earbud out and checked their audio only to realize that Andrew was pausing? 😉

hey Andrew and Thomas, I think it's time to talk to you about the The Onion Router. Andrew, on this episode I heard you say "not even in incognito mode will I visit infowars," and that's a fair instinct. Incognito mode does next to nothing. But it's clearly not good for legitimate journalists and news sources to be chilled out of being able to gather and disseminate information. And that is exactly what TOR was originally made to prevent. Putting aside all the bad associations with the scary "dark web," you are legitimate journalists, and though it might (still) seem mild here in the US, you *were* dissuaded from gathering information based on fears of being tracked. TOR is a serious tool made to protect journalists, and you shouldn't shy away from it. It is also not hard to use. You don't have to be a computer science graduate like me to use it. They distribute an all-in-one "tor browser bundle" that contains a standalone locked-down version of firefox that will only connect through tor, so you can just install and use it as an alternate browser: https://www.torproject.org/download/
