If you lost access between 1st January till today, you don't have to pay again for this update.

I'm feeling kind this morning.

Please send me a message here on Patreon, and I will send it to you for free!

I took a couple days off since I had a birthday, (I am now 27) :(,  and the hangover from the celebrations of the New Year took longer to heal than usual (I miss my early twenties so much).

Hope you didn't miss me too much.

I spent a HUGE amount of time on a couple of very stubborn issues that I managed to solve with the On Foot Cameras, and I think you'll really like this update.

Let's get to it:

New

-New On Foot Camera: Chest Camera

On Foot First Person Camera

  • Cinematic Mode reworked, now uses FACIAL_ROOT bone (there is an issue with some custom peds, probably due to them not having complex facial animations like the protagonists, which I use to determine camera's position and rotation. I am working on a fix. If your camera is rotated aprox 90 degrees in the wrong direction, switch to a different ped. Michael, Trevor and Franklin all good)
  • Reduced camera shake, you are no longer required to undergo NASA's high-g training in the centrifuge before using Cinematic Mode (@kaoziun :) )
  • All weapon's offsets were modified
  • Bullets aligned better with weapons
  • Movement has been improved
  • Aiming should feel much better now, no more gimball lock
  • Unlocked view angles, you can look up/down
  • Fixed clipping when aiming up/down or moving sideways while aiming
  • Better camera behavior on ragdoll
  • Sniper scopes are now usable, press *crouch* to toggle (left CTRL on keyboards)

Shoulder Camera

  • Received the same treatment as the First Person Camera. New offsets for all weapons, different attachment algo
  • Added ability to toggle Axon Overlay
  • Radar is now properly hidden

Head Camera

  • Received the same treatment as the First Person and the Shoulder Cameras but without the new offsets

Vehicle First Person Camera

  • Added ability to toggle Axon Overlay
  • Added ability to toggle camera effect
  • Added in vehicle player animations disabler, to stop the player from leaning forward on braking (.oiv)

Vehicle DashCam

  • Made DashCam x,y,z offset sliders more precise
  • Added ability to toggle radar

Misc

  • Menu improvements
  • Disabled ability to switch cameras during aiming to prevent issues
  • Replaced another font, instead of replacing the main game font
  • No more nightly build in the archive, there was too much confusion and it looks like only a few use it. If you need a version that will work with the nightly build please send me a message and I will hook you up ;)
  • Started working on Motorcycle Chase and First Person cameras. They are available in this update but barely usable
  • I now have an Xbox controller, so in the coming days I will hopefully upload a hotfix that will solve the controller issues, stay tuned.

As usual, there are probably more small changes, fixes and tweaks that I made, and forgot to include in the notes. Feel free to point them out if you find them!

Thank you guys and have a nice week!

When I applied it, the field of view is rotated 90 degrees to the left from the first person camera and headcam.

RusLanParty

Yes, it's an issue with some peds, for now use one of the default players like Trevor, Franklin or Michael. Other peds work too, but not all I am working on a solution now

Excellent work! Is it possible to add motionblur effect from timecyclemodifier to vehicle ChaseCam? Just notice that DashCam has motionblur effect while ChaseCam doesn't
