Well, you know what they say, "Perfection is the enemy of progress."

I intended to have everything ready and the release finished a little over a week ago. As I was testing, though, I realized that there was a big issue with some content bleeding from one path to another. These two paths happen to be mutually exclusive, so that was a problem. Of course, once I found that one, I found something else that I needed to fix. That of course had me completely reevaluate another aspect of the game, and on and on . . . . The good news is that I was able to finish more than I originally thought I would for the alpha version. The bad news is that it took me an extra week or so.

So then, here we are now . . . Patrons at $5 and above can download the alpha version of the game here.

This is an alpha version of the first release! In other words, I am still working on it and there will be some changes before the final version. I ask that you please do not share this version. I will be uploading the final release to several popular sites once it is ready. As I have finally drawn a line in the sand and put this one out there, I know exactly where I need to focus my energy. Therefore, I should have the "final" version 0.1.0 finished by the end of the month----hopefully before Christmas!

Notably, there are a number of scenes that have media but no text or vice versa. I do not believe there are any errors, but please let me know if you come across any. There are a couple of dead ends that I did not have a chance to tie together (though not too many). If you come across one, just hit the "Back" button (left arrow) in the left sidebar and make a different choice. There are definitely some pacing problems that will be solved by adding additional content. To waste time in between events, just play video games or watch TV in the Living Room. Make sure you go to work every day.

As this is the first release, I don't have a changelog for you. This will be included in all future update announcements.
