In Her Own Hands Version 0.6.3 Available to Patrons (Early Release) (Patreon)

Hello Patrons,

The new version of In Her Own Hands (version 0.6.3) is now available for all Patrons at the "Surprise Me" level ($5) and above. This update is the next within the progression of the 0.6.x content and will be released to the public one week from today. Any necessary bugfixes will be incorporated in our next release. The walk-through for this version will be finished and released to Patrons at "Delight Me" ($9) and above in the next few days.

This release develops two big new features. First, we implemented the "FuckR" dating app (a sneak preview was previously available on the phone). This includes not only the full interface with a number of possible matches ("FuckR Buddies") but also the first couple of messages and dates. We will be adding more Buddies and hook-ups in future versions... who knows who the protagonist might meet?!

Second, we implemented a new way for the protagonist to pick up a couple of bucks. If you made it through the "Dick-cathlon" with Abby from the last update, depending on the outcome, you might have learned how she makes enough money to support herself, beyond just working at the clothing store. The protagonist can now explore this on her own, either after she plays with Abby or (through a slightly longer progression) discovers it by herself. Hint: keep going online...your laptop has *so* much to offer!

We are excited to introduce this new avenue of content creation as it is so prevalent in today’s online community. And, perfect for our female protagonist figuring out her path in a world of sexy opportunities.

This update is pretty heavy on media because of these two new features. We hope that you love them as much as we do, but let us know what you think!

As we mentioned with our previous release, due to a shift in our coding, we were able to add all of the new content without affecting any old saves, so there is no need to use the "Update Save" feature if you are continuing from 0.6.1, 0.6.1a, or 0.6.2! We will continue to go back and redo old code over the next few updates, with the goal of removing that feature altogether.

Version 0.6.x will continue with another planned release to add to a few other miscellaneous aspects of the game.
