Quick development update (7 May 2021) (Patreon)

Just wanted to leave a quick note about the upcoming release. We realize that we overshot our estimated release date by a bit, but we should still be on track to release next week.

We are on track with the new content and have some additional surprises that we think will please you all.

We also decided to go through the game from the beginning and tie up some loose ends--earlier events that did not take advantage of some of the big gameplay changes introduced after those events had been written, adding some additional choices to earlier events to increase the player's (and Becca's) agency, etc. Most of these will not be noticed by players continuing saved games, but will improve the experience when playing from the beginning. (For those who have supported us for several updates, we definitely recommend trying it again from the beginning---though it's not required, you might enjoy it!)
