Progress Report! (Patreon)

 Good Evening, bemoustached anchorman Newman here. It's Progress Report time.

Ok. As some of you know, most of the work for the Baguette Girl comic is done! I still have a meeting with Lety (from Letydoesstuff) -who is the writer and character(s) creator- so we can retouch some of the coloring,  but that should be it! I'll let you guys know once it's finally out. It's fun, sexy, full of bread... I love the hell out of it. Can't believe how lucky I was to be chosen to give life to such a fucking crazy character.

And that brings us to Ben X. As you may know as well, I haven't stopped working on this build, but the pace has been atrocious (life, work, shit happening). Well, this stops now. I have now less expenses (not living in Barcelona anymore takes care of that), have much more peace and quiet (I live near the river in a small town), got no other job to do other than Ben X (goodbye 21-person team leader position, it was fun, but the stress shan't be missed), and I'm generally much happier than I have been for ages, which also helps.

I have decided to be also more active towards you guys. More Discord, more Patreon posts... I even created an Instagram account with my name, @benxnewman. That is something I never thought I'd do, but there you go, people change. To those of you who already have followed my projects, think of it as a storage for publicly shared images. No Goodie Pack or Delux-O stuff there, just promotional images from public posts, maybe a way to get some attention, I don't know. Any advice or tips about how to manage my new gram persona is more than welcome. Cos I know fuck all about it :D

I have been testing the latest build, want to play it from start to finish, actually, not just the new content and improved details. Been fixing some dialog, writing new stuff, revising the dusty combat docs, and not just doing art for scenes, but actually going over them to make them look and play as damn hot as possible. Playing Ben X from the start has made me fall in love with all the characters again, and I can't tell you how excited I am to be able to finally pour ALL my time into it.

Damn the torpedoes! Full steam ahead!
