In the next episode... (Patreon)

Newman here. Don't worry, I'm not a fan of spoilers.

What I wanted to talk about is what's coming in the next Public build. We still have something we want to change from the content the game currently has, and we'll be releasing test builds to +10$ patrons before that, but the next big one is very much about moving forward with the story, and introducing new mechanics.

You may have noticed the game is divided by episodes. The current version (0.02d) has covered the "Intro", "Welcome to Bellwood", "The life of a normal teenage hero" and "A Plumber's duty".

I divide episodes thematically, and this means they won't be the same length. Some will be a bit of a pause, a time to relax after characters have defeated a powerful enemy. Others may be dedicated to introduce a new character to the rest of the cast. Another could be a long story arch that ultimately defines the whole game.

So why am I talking episodes then, if they don't help us know how much content a build will have? Well, firstly, I wanted to reassure you. We're very much working on the game (I'm currently writing the script for the new episode, "The Great Escape", Akanoes is adding stuff to the wardrobe); and secondly, I thought I would give you a summary of what's coming in the next one. Here it goes:

VERY MILD SPOILERS AHEAD! (mostly game mechanics)

. The wardrobe, which will let you change Shar's appearance inside and outside the house (provided you can convince her to)

. Shar's Plumber Training starts!

. Shar Sex training starts!

. Pakmar's shop opens

. Secret base construction can start

. New enemy type: the Hoe
