Oh, Flying spaghetti monster, please let this one be the final design!

Already working on 0.03, -in the brief moments I have a break from working with Akanoes to perfect 0.02 and sketch Daphne and Velma for the new Shagworthy's Legacy sex scenes- and one of the most important problems to solve is this:

What do we do with all this customization? How do we make it matter for you guys?

Well. Let me tell you the plan. And it is a mad plan, but it might just work. If you look at the image you can see the main categories on the left. Just beside them, the sub-categories. Then the actual parts themselves, in white text. Before I go on, just know this was a pain in the ass to organize, find the right layer order for, and make sure it can be expanded without limits in the future with new parts. We're talking days and days of work. Shar alone has 146 parts as of now, and the game is just starting! (not just clothes, that's with expressions, arms...)

Now for the mad part. There had to be a way for you guys to customize the girls as much as you wanted, and see those changes reflected in the game. Now, for most scenes it would be madness with all those parts, and the many more to come. We COULD do it now, since at the start of the game there isn't many clothing options for Shar, but to do it now and remove the option later... that's bad game design. So, the scenes will have to have the girls in a predetermined outfit -or naked-, but what about the customization then? How to make it matter?

The solution was to add those buttons at the top, and the game mechanic behind them. You will be able to customize and save each girl's outfit: on patrol, outside, at home, when training as a Plumber... and in other kinds of training :D That way we can make outfits matter, as what girls allow themselves to wear in their rooms or in public is a direct sign of your progress with them. We're even considering for some items of clothing to give you bonuses during combat, so kinda like a proper RPG in that sense.

Then there's the 2 small icons on the right, the camera and the favorite folder. Those will allow you to save up to 10 extra combinations, so that you can swap outfits on the fly, and then save them to any of the categories above. That way you can quickly switch between outfits intended for the same occasion without having to create a new one.

You'll be able to try all of that in 0.03. For now, who's excited for 0.02? :)

Thanks :) It's always a problem in games that allow customization, but I think we've found a good solution here.

Nice. I guess this means each cloth would have stats of its own?

Not every piece of cloth, that would be insane with the number of them we're dealing with. But we want some to provide bonuses.
