Recent piece! Took around 3 hours to work out the pose and lighting here for this piece, I'll attach the references below for you guys to check out!

I think the most challenging aspect of this piece was the lighting. We usually expect skin colour to be a neutral beige hue, but under extreme lighting conditions, the colours of the light can easily overpower the hue of the skin. In order to learn about how colours change based on the lighting, I'd recommend using only normal blend mode for your practice to get a direct experience of colours. If you rely too heavily on blend modes such as hard light, colour dodge etc, you may lose out on some of the nuances of the changes in colour.
