When I tell you that y'all BLEW UP my messages telling me about Raquel Welch passing away....

BUT - I don't even know who that is! So let's honor her memory and introduce me to her!

I will not comment on how most of her titles could also be porn titles.

Three Musketeers is one of my favorite movies along with The Four Musketeers which was filmed at the same time(many of the actors weren’t aware they were making two movies).

James Sharp

One Million Years B.C. is definitely her most iconic role. Mother, Jugs And Speed is a classic.

Three Musketeers has a ton of heavyweights in the cast. Sir Christopher Lee (aka Saruman, Count Dooku, Scaramanga, Dracula, or just a guy who used to kill Nazis for a living). Sir Oliver Reed (who died while filming Gladiator), Richard Chamberlain, Michael York, Charlton Heston. Also - the fact that the actors were hired for one movie, but the company ended up making two, caused quite a stir, and shook the film industry to the core, and after lawsuits, it became mandatory to specify in the contract how many films would be made.

Voted for "Fantastic Voyage"...VERY cool movie! Also recently watched Raquel in the 1972 Richard Burton mega bomb "Bluebeard"...she was definitely the highlight of that overwrought crapfest! May she RIP

Richard Maurer

I voted for Fantastic Voyage just to give it some love, but if the poll were closer I would have switched to Three Musketeers - both the best movie and her best role in this poll.

Meredith Shivers

Don't forget about Stella Stevens, another Old Hollywood Great gone too soon!

Three Musketeers is awesome, really think you'll love it. There's a sequel, too.

Raquel Welch was one of the posters on the prison cell wall in "The Shawshank Redemption." It was the woman wearing what could be called a prehistoric bikini which was her costume in the movie "One Million Years B.C."

My choice would have been One Million B.C.,,, it was based on a true story

Richard Maurer

Yes, I remember when they found the fossil of Loana, played by Raquel in the movie. Even some of her rabbit fur bikini was preserved.

Her most iconic role (fur bikini movie poster catapulted her to fame !!!) was One Million BC. Can’t say much about the film, but you can’t honor the life & work of Raquel Welch without highlighting that picture. And .. one of her last roles (ex-wife of the murder victim) in Legally Blonde. 🥰

I am a big Oliver Reed fan, so The Three Musketeers absolutely gets my vote, and I second any requests to watch the follow up movie, The Four Musketeers. There is also a 3rd installment called The Return of The Musketeers that was released in 1989, it takes place about 20 years after The Four Musketeers.

As a former paramedic, I am required to vote for "Mother, Juggs, and Speed".
