Lynette Cummins

Never been a fan of this movie but Ashleigh's review was fun to watch. And yes.......leach's are real. 😃

Nick of Time

Another great Richard Dreyfus movie Ashleigh should see is “Mr. Holland’s Opus”.

Hi, Lynette. HBO had a free weekend on DISH and on Friday night they had The Thomas Crown Affair. The one with Brosnan and Russo. I recorded it to my DVR so if Ashleigh does it I can do the watchalong.

Lynette Cummins

Hey Bill. 😃 Ashleigh just read my request on her live to put it on her next losers poll. I really hope she gets a chance to see it. I hope that you enjoy it as well. 😃

“My Girl”? Ashleigh….You’re gonna BIG CRY there. Just saying.

Fun/weird fact. This movie is directly referenced in the original Pokemon games. You start the game in your room. When you go downstairs you can check the TV and it says there's a movie with 4 boys walking along the railroad tracks. Also if you're planning on skipping the Marvel shows I'd suggest you watch at least The Falcon and the Winter Soldier before Black Widow. Not totally required but still a suggestion.

This movie has definitely made me cry before. I'll always miss my core pack of friends I had growing up. And it's so weird how some of them just faded away by the end of high school.

Richard LaMance

There is a great song about River Phoenix by Natalie Merchant called River

Snacky Munchies

Need to watch "A Thing Called Love" with River Phoenix its a great one he past away the same year, Was a great actor, him and Keanu Reeves in My Private Idaho became best of friends. "My own Private Idaho" is a must watch I hope it will make the list in the future.

Mikey Russo

Return To Oz, please. 🙏

Jill Peterson

I hope you see Richard Dreyfuss in GOODBYE GIRL.

Oouga

I don't cry when Gordo talks about Denny. I cry when Gordo talks about Chris dying.

Joe Blankenship

I think it's hilarious that you picked this movie because you thought it would be romantic. And it turned out to be bromantic.

I am curious, now that you have seen so many of the movies people deem essential, what are your general thoughts reflecting on how this all started? Do you wish you had seen many of these films growing up? Do you think that the majority of what you have now seen is good? Any standouts in the ones you have seen? Is there a series of films you think were oversold? Have you interacted with anyone that hasn't seen a movie you now really like? How did that go? How did it feel to be on the other side of that? Any particular genre you like more now? Decade/era? Any genre you just aren't interested in? Or can't wait to try? Wondered how the movies you have seen are affecting your taste in movies. Just some random thoughts Thanks for what you do - always enjoy it.
